The Brief
I was tasked to create a promotional video for TipJar to use across thier social media and youtube channel to showcase both their existing products as well as introducing their new spend and save features. The spend and save section would be exported as a smaller seperate video alongside the full promo.
My Process
For this project, the client provided a storyboard and key messaging that needed to be translated into a clear, engaging promotional video. We began with a call to define the structure, tone and pace of the final edit, ensuring we were aligned creatively before production began.
I then created a short style preview, applying the proposed text animation approach, motion overlays and clip treatments to a small section of the video. This allowed the client to review the visual direction and confirm we were aligned before moving forward.
Once approved, I rolled this style consistently throughout both video versions, keeping pacing tight and messaging clear while staying within the required durations. After adding sound design and final polish, the videos were delivered and signed off for release.
